Julian Grey’s client is an established engineering company specialising in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) solutions.

Prepare budgets, monitor costs and advise on the cost impact of project changes.
Source contractor and subcontractor quotations and compare prices.
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender and contract documents.
Submit and follow up on progress claims and prepare monthly cost reports.
Assess completed work, subcontractor claims and interim valuations.
Measure, price and coordinate agreement of contract variations.
Assist in final account preparation and settlement.
Maintain project records, comply with ISO documentation requirements and handle other assigned duties.

Relevant educational background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
Experience in electrical and/or mechanical and electrical (M&E) projects would be an advantage.
Familiar with tendering, cost control and contract administration, with the ability to assess claims, negotiate terms and communicate with project stakeholders.
