Kitchen Assistant | School | Tampines |Part time

1. Work closely with Food and Consumer Education (FCE) teachers to provide support in the preparation of FCE lessons.
2. Handle simple administrative tasks such as maintaining inventory, maintenance of kitchen equipment and processing of food ingredients orders with the food supplier(s).
3. Prepare food portions for distribution before all practical lessons while ensuring that hygiene is observed. (Statement/Certificate of Attainment from Skills Future Singapore (SSG) on Food Safety Course Level 1 or equivalent is a requirement).
4. Cleaning the kitchen (sweeping and mopping of floor, checking of utensils used) at the end of each lesson.
5. Stock taking of all food and cleaning supplies.
6. Assist in school events, where necessary.
7. Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the School Leaders or Heads of Department.

Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
