Senior / Coordinator MEP
STRAITS CONSTRUCTION SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED
- Overall responsible for all the MEP work and progress of multiple projects during and after DLP.
- Verify and follow-up on submission of necessary drawings, OMM, materials, method statements by subcontractors and/or project team.
- Plan and coordinate MEP trainings to Client representatives as specified in contract.
- Coordinate and verify maintenance schedule of MEP systems during DLP
- Check and ensure compliance with TOP check lists and RI (M&E)
- Plan and coordinate inspections related to MEP trades.
- Plan and monitor MEP work progress and updates
- Identify and resolve MEP site issues and defects faced at different projects during and after DLP
- Establish proper communication with internal (ie. project and maintenance teams) and external stakeholders (ie. clients, managing agents, end-users)
- Work with site teams to manage and rectify MEP defects/issues
- Initiate and attend meetings (subcons, consultants, managing agents, end-users, etc)
- Carry out site audits as required
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/Management.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Building Service.
- Candidate with proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit will have added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in coordination and supervision of MEP works in local building construction. Preferably in high rise building projects.
- Good knowledge of MEP specifications, code of practices, standards and BCA quality requirements.
