Technical/Sales Support Engineer (Marine)

Job Summary

Create and manage technical drawings and project documentation for complex systems. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met. Resolve technical issues and support sales and site activities in marine and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings and As-built documentation for PAGA, CCTV, PABX, Fire Alarm, PLC/DCS, Fire & Gas detection and protection, Helideck Lighting, and Weather Monitoring systems to support project delivery
• Coordinate project administration, scheduling, and communication across design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams to achieve project objectives
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Perform engineering design tasks including developing models and conducting tests to validate specifications
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues during project execution, collaborating with customers and suppliers for clarifications
• Prepare and clarify technical sales proposals to support business development efforts
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical support onboard vessels to facilitate project implementation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Technical Engineering with relevant work experience
• Knowledge of PAGA, CCTV, PABX, Fire Alarm, PLC/DCS, Fire & Gas detection and protection, and Helideck Lighting systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating technical drawings
• Experience in Shipyard, Oil & Gas, Marine, or Petrochemical industries
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to collaborate effectively within teams
• Ability to maintain productivity and quality under pressure
