What You’ll Do

As an Investment Analyst, you will support idea generation, market monitoring and investment research across global foreign exchange markets. This role involves analysing economic data, central bank policies, market positioning and sentiment indicators to produce actionable insights. You will collaborate closely with the CIO and the investment team to deliver high‑quality analysis and trade ideas.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Monitor and analyse global foreign exchange markets, including G10 and emerging market currencies.
• Track macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies, geopolitical developments, and capital flows to assess implications for currency markets.
• Conduct fundamental, quantitative, and relative value analysis to identify investment opportunities.
• Analyse market positioning, sentiment, and alternative data sources to support investment views.
• Contribute to daily, weekly, and thematic research publications.
• Develop and present discretionary trade ideas and investment recommendations.
• Build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and research tools to support idea generation and portfolio monitoring.
• Manage financial market data, Bloomberg extractions, and reporting processes.
• Work closely with portfolio managers to assess market risks, opportunities, and portfolio positioning
• Work with quant/technology team to enhance data pipelines and dashboards

Who We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
• Up to 4 years of experience in a financial market role (research, trading,strategy, economics, quant, or related)
• Proficient in Python and/or R

Helpful Experience

• Exposure to macroeconomic or financial data tools like Bloomberg, CEIC, Haver, or Macrobond
• Familiarity with AI tools, sentiment analysis, and quantitative analysis is advantageous
• Understanding of macroeconomics and international finance
