Stage Crew / Production Assistant

Job Summary

Support stage management by preparing venues, organizing props, and assisting backstage to ensure smooth rehearsals and performances.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Stage Manager with daily venue setup, organizing props, and preparing spaces for rehearsals and shows
• Provide backstage support during performances by managing quick scene changes, handing over props, and assisting with costume changes
• Coordinate logistics for cast and crew to maintain backstage security and ensure smooth operational workflow

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Hold a High School/Secondary diploma, Nitec, or Higher Nitec qualification (fresh graduates and students welcome)
• Demonstrate energy and reliability in supporting stage operations
• Experience in stage crew or event support is advantageous but not required
