QAQC Engineer /5.5 days /Up to $6,500 @ Tuas
Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for façade and curtain wall projects.
Inspect structural, architectural & façade installation i.e steel, stainless steel, aluminum extrusions
Monitor workmanship, material quality and installation processes to meeet project requirements.
Pre-inspections and final inspections to ensure works are completed to the required quality standards.
Identify quality defects, recommend corrective actions and monitor rectification works.
Prepare Quality Control Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, QA/QC procedures & inspection checklists.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results and relevant project documentation.
Prepare QA/QC reports, non-conformance reports and corrective action reports.
Support quality audits, and coordinate with internal/external on quality-related matters.
Monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Site inspections to ensure installation sequences and adherence to approved method statements.
Attend quality coordination meetings, inspections and audits with relevant stakeholders.
Technical guidance and conduct quality-related training for site personnel/subcontractor.
Work closely with project teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
Support project handover by ensuring documentation, inspections & rectification are completed.
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Engineering.
At least 3 years of relevant QA/QC experience in the façade or curtain wall industry.
Knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminum and glass façade systems, and installation methods.
Experience in preparing Quality Control Plans, ITPs, inspection reports and QA/QC documentation.
Able to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications & method statements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
