LORRY DRIVER

1. Deliver rice, dal, vegetables, cooking oil, and other food products to customers, supermarkets, provision shops, restaurants, and other business premises.
2. Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle and ensure that all products are handled safely.
3. Check delivery orders, invoices, and quantities of goods before dispatch and upon delivery.
4. Ensure that goods are delivered to the correct destinations within the scheduled time.
5. Collect payments and obtain customers’ signatures or acknowledgements for delivered goods, where required.
6. Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle.
7. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical problems, damage, or maintenance requirements.
8. Ensure that food products are transported properly to prevent damage, contamination, or spoilage.
9. Assist with warehouse activities, including arranging, sorting, and preparing goods for delivery when required.
10. Follow road safety regulations, company procedures, and delivery schedules.
11. Report delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, customer complaints, and other delivery-related issues to the supervisor.
