Pastoral Care Officer #Woodlands

Working hours: Mon to Thur: 10 am to 4 pm

Key Roles

• Provide targeted support and guidance for HNS; create inclusive environments

• Supervise the after-school dropping centre

• Provide counselling/mentoring/guidance to high-needs students

• Assist in discipline matters (fact-finding and follow-up)

• Maintain records; track individual progress

• Provide termly staff updates and semester reports to school leaders

• Plan and review FLY/L.O.L group mentoring

• Deliver experiential learning activities

• Establish a conducive Homework Support Club environment and provide guidance

• Facilitate relationship-building activities

• Conduct weekly conflict resolution clinics and train HNS peer mediators

• Conduct staff workshops to support HNS

Requirements

Registered with MOE

• At least 2 years' relevant working experience

• Preferably a Degree from a recognised institution

• Preferably an accredited mediator, AMIS instructor, or hold relevant certifications

• Proven record-keeping and reporting skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
