Civil & Structural Engineer (Design & Build Project)

Location: Toh Guan

Salary: Up to S$4,500/month + AWS + Variable Bonus

Working Days/Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm

(Saturday, 8:30am–12:30pm, only when required to complete outstanding work)

Our client is an established company specialising in LED lighting technology and solutions, providing technical support, customised lighting calculations, Green Mark rating support, and LED video wall sales and rentals.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out civil and structural engineering design work to develop safe, practical and compliant solutions for Design & Build (D&B) projects.

• Review structural drawings, specifications, calculations, method statements, material submissions and technical proposals.

• Ensure designs and project documentation comply with Singapore building codes, statutory requirements and relevant authority regulations.

• Prepare and submit applications and technical documents to relevant authorities, including BCA, JTC, SCDF, NEA, PUB and LTA.

• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved designs, quality and safety requirements.

• Attend project meetings, liaise with clients and provide updates on project progress and technical matters.

• Use AutoCAD and structural analysis software to support design, drawing reviews and engineering assessments.

• Perform other project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Singapore's construction industry.

• Must have experience in Design & Build (D&B) projects involving government projects or private commercial buildings.

• Must have attended Eurocode training.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with Singapore building regulations and submission requirements.
