Application Support Engineer (MariaDB SQL, RCA ,Kubernetes, VMware, Unix Shell)

Provide application support and troubleshoot application-related issues in a production environment.
Perform technical troubleshooting using Linux, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL (preferably MariaDB) and Java programming.
Conduct structured impact analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve application incidents.
Support application implementation projects within financial institutions.
Troubleshoot applications involving Hadoop, Kubernetes/VMware Pacific and microservices concepts.
Maintain high service quality in a 24x7 support environment through effective communication and analytical problem-solving.

2+ years of experience in an Application Support environment.
Hands-on experience in Linux, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL (preferably MariaDB) and Java programming.
Strong Experience in Hadoop, Kubernetes/VMware Pacific and microservices concepts would be an added advantage.
Experience in financial products and application implementation projects within financial institutions would be preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform structured impact analysis and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure and maintain high service quality in a 24x7 support environment.
