Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Crane Service
- Position Title: Truck Driver
- Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon-Fri 8AM - 5PM; Sat 8AM - 12PM)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport & Trip Allowance
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all traffic rules and drive safely when operating company trucks.
- Follow all required rules for transporting regulated safely on public roads.
- Follow anti-littering laws. Use suitable approved containers (such as bins and drums) to keep waste secure during transport.
- Ensure all containers (bins, drums, etc.) are properly secured to the truck before moving off.
- Perform basic daily checks and simple maintenance on company trucks.
- Keep track of truck maintenance and/or inspection schedules and inform the Supervisor at least 2 weeks before the due date.
- Keep track of Road Tax and/or Vehicle Insurance expiry dates and inform the Supervisor at least 2 weeks before expiry.
- When carrying out the duties above, follow all workplace safety rules and safe work practices.
