OutSystems Developer

We are looking for an experienced Low Code Engineer to support the development, maintenance and modernisation of enterprise-level digital applications. You will be involved in the full application lifecycle, including application development, enhancement, production support, troubleshooting, deployment and technology migration.

• Salary Package: Up to $9,500 (basic) + AWS

Key responsibilities include

• Design, develop, test and maintain applications using OutSystems, including new features, enhancements and defect fixes.
• Develop and maintain backend business logic, workflows, integrations and business rules.
• Develop and maintain frontend functionality using OutSystems and content management platforms.
• Work on Oracle Database components, including database schemas, SQL queries, stored procedures and data integrity controls.
• Provide production support by investigating and resolving application defects, system incidents, integration failures and performance issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve application stability and performance.
• Support application deployment, release management, rollback procedures and post-deployment verification.
• Support application components hosted on AWS infrastructure and work with relevant operating systems, security and identity management components.
• Assist in application migration and modernisation initiatives, including technical assessment, dependency identification, migration planning, testing and cutover activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, interface specifications, deployment procedures and operational runbooks.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on application development experience using OutSystems.
• Must have completed at least one Singapore Government project involving an OutSystems-based production system with a total project or contract value of at least S$5 million.
• Experience supporting at least one production application after go-live, including incident investigation, defect resolution or application enhancement.
• Hands-on experience working with Oracle Database in an application development or production support environment.
• Experience working in an enterprise technology environment involving application development and supporting technologies such as databases, infrastructure, integration, security or identity management.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills, particularly in production environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges, including working with complex enterprise applications and legacy systems.
