Material Planner (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update BOMs, routings, specifications, and master data in MRP.
• Review engineering drawings and implement approved engineering changes.
• Generate and monitor production orders to align with production schedules.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure material availability and resolve shortages.
• Track WIP, investigate inventory discrepancies, and update system records.
• Conduct data audits and maintain MRP data integrity.
• Support users with MRP-related guidance and training.
• Liaise with QA to ensure compliance with quality and document control requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in MRP/ERP systems (AS400 preferred).
• Able to read engineering drawings and understand BOM structures.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or production planning environment preferred.
