1. Meal Preparation & Special Dietary Requirements
Prepare nutritious, balanced and appetising meals for residents according to prescribed dietary requirements and Dietitian recommendations.
Cater to residents' individual nutritional needs, including special diets and IDDSI food texture requirements.
Ensure meals are prepared and presented appropriately to meet residents' nutritional and dietary needs.
Communicate with residents to understand their food preferences and requests.
2. Kitchen Operations & Food Safety
Manage daily household kitchen operations and ensure smooth meal preparation and food service.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness in accordance with applicable SFA and MOH requirements.
Ensure proper food storage, handling, preparation and kitchen sanitation.
Provide technical guidance and advice to colleagues on food preparation, dietary requirements and kitchen-related matters.
3. Resident Care & Support
Assist with basic physiological monitoring of residents when required and within the scope of assigned duties and training.
Support colleagues in assisting residents with non-toileting activities of daily living when required.
Maintain a professional and caring approach when interacting with residents.
4. Quality Improvement
Participate in food service quality improvement activities, internal audits and inspections.
Ensure kitchen practices and meal preparation standards are maintained.
Perform other duties as assigned.
