Associate Engineer, Industrial Engineering

Position Summary

Associate Engineer, Industrial engineering is responsible for conducting time and motion studies on machines and operators, material usage analysis, and process validation to support manufacturing efficiency and productivity improvements. The role contributes to plant capacity planning, production floor layout optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure efficient utilization of resources and manufacturing space.

Candidates with semiconductor manufacturing and new plant startup experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct machine and operator time studies to establish accurate standard cycle times, identify bottlenecks, and improve productivity.

· Perform UPH (Units Per Hour) validation and monitor production performance to ensure achievement of planned output targets.

· Analyze and optimize material flow from receiving, storage, production, and shipment to improve operational efficiency and reduce non-value-added activities.

· Conduct material usage studies and validate consumption rates to support production planning, cost control, and inventory accuracy.

· Collaborate with Production, Process, Equipment, Planning, and Quality teams to improve

· Support manufacturing cost improvement initiatives through cycle time reduction, process optimization, and resource utilization enhancement.

· Assist in implementing and sustaining continuous improvement programs to support business growth and operational excellence.

· Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation related to IE studies, capacity analysis, productivity monitoring, and improvement projects.

Requirement

· Diploma in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment or other related field.

· Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process is an advantage.

· Hand-on skills on CAD tools like AutoCAD and domain knowledge in industrial engineering will be advantage

· Good communication skills and team player
