Workplace Safety and Health Officer (2-3yrs exp/WSH Executive/Registered WSHO/Immediately/Short Notice/Civil Constructions)

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine site inspections and WSH audits.
• Develop and review risk assessments, safe work procedures and method statements.
• Make sure the project complies with the WSH Act and MOM guidelines.
• Hold toolbox meetings and safety inductions for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.
• Monitor subcontractor safety and keep all WSH records and permits updated.

Requirements

• Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 2 – 3 years of relevant workplace safety and health experience in the civil construction industry.
• Must be a MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Good communication skills to work with workers, subcontractors and management.
• Able to start work immediately / within a short notice is advantageous.
