Site Safety Officer (2-3yrs exp/EHS Officer/Registered WSHO/Immediately/Short Notice/Civil Constructions)

Responsibilities

• Inspect work areas on site and carry out safety audits.
• Draft and update risk assessments, safe work procedures and method statements.
• Ensure site activities meet the WSH Act and MOM requirements.
• Lead toolbox meetings and safety inductions for new workers.
• Investigate accidents and near misses and track corrective actions.
• Supervise subcontractors on safety practices and keep WSH documents in order.

Requirements

• Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent.
• 2 – 3 years of relevant site safety experience in the civil construction industry.
• Must be a MOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Good communication skills to work with workers, subcontractors and management.
• Able to start work immediately / within a short notice is advantageous.
