Production Assistant Engineer

Job Summary

Support and optimize daily production operations by leading continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production operations to maintain smooth, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Lead continuous improvement projects using statistical tools and software to optimize processes, benchmark performance, and enhance productivity
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS standards
• Drive operational excellence by improving process performance, efficiency, and reliability
• Adhere to safety protocols by wearing required Personal Protective Equipment, including jumpsuit and protective mask, as necessary
• Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and resourcefulness to meet production goals
• Work effectively as a team player focused on delivering measurable results
• Willingness to work overtime when required

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
