Control Systems Specialist - Jurong Island

Your role

Our major Oil & Gas Downstream Client is urgently looking for Control Systems Specialist who will be responsible for managing plant Distributed Control System (Honeywell, Yokogawa DCS), troubleshoot issues or outages, and support problem analysis and system recovery.

• Perform software patch, updates, upgrades and hardware refresh of control systems, execute backup and recovery strategies, and anti-virus signature file distribution
• Implement system installation, configuration, documentation and management of change
• Interface with third parties and suppliers of process control systems hardware, software, firmware and services to ensure reliable and efficient plant operation

You are what we are looking for if you:

• Have hands on experience in plant Distributed Control System (DCS) in the petrochemical or refining industry preferred
• Have strong knowledge of the server/client environment, Microsoft Windows Domain/Server Network infrastructure, SQL, Network infrastructure and cybersecurity (e.g. Cisco routers and switches), virtualization technology (e.g. VMware, Nutanix)
• Have experience in industrial networking and computing standards, as well as local codes
• Have hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Are an effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
