Job position: UPLIFT Support Staff

Salary range: SGD 3,000 - 3,500/month

Name of Authority: Yio Chu Kang Secondary School

Contract Period: 1 January to 31 December 2027.

Working hours

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 5:30pm. Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Each shift includes a one-hour lunch break.

No service on Saturdays, Sundays or gazetted public holidays.

Requirements

• Diploma in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Youth Work or a related field.

• At least two years of experience working with youths.

Job Scopes

1. Plan and run student engagement activities, including reintegration, The Catalyst Programme and after-school engagement. Develop holiday programmes during school breaks.

2. Supervise activities, encourage positive peer relationships and social-emotional skills, track participation and follow up on non-participation with school staff.

3. Mentor identified students in goal-setting, academic progress and social-emotional learning, working with teachers-in-charge.

4. Prepare activity resources and involve students in maintaining a suitable after-school engagement room.

5. Gather student feedback, evaluate programmes each term and report participation, progress and impact. Ensure activities follow the school’s code of conduct.

6. Work with school personnel to provide follow-up support and connect students to community resources. Assist related school-wide initiatives.

7. Review the programme at year-end and recommend improvements.
