Role Overview

Epic Medical is seeking a Business Strategy Manager to leadthe evaluation and development of business opportunities in the TotalParenteral Nutrition (TPN) sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessingmarket potential, identifying viable product and business opportunities,evaluating manufacturing and investment requirements, and developing acommercially sustainable strategy for Epic Medical’s entry into the TPN market.

The role will involve evaluating opportunities acrossTPN-related medical devices and disposables, including TPN bags and deliverysystems, as well as complete nutrition solutions. The objective is to identifythe most viable business model and establish a strategic roadmap for thecompany’s expansion into this sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Opportunity Assessment

• Conduct market research on the global and regional TPN industry, including market size, growth potential, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate potential target markets based on demand, regulatory requirements, commercial viability, and market accessibility.
• Analyse key competitors, product offerings, pricing structures, and distribution channels.
• Assess opportunities across TPN bags, associated disposables, delivery systems, and complete parenteral nutrition solutions.

2. Business Strategy & Financial Evaluation

• Develop a comprehensive business strategy for Epic Medical’s potential entry into the TPN sector.
• Evaluate different business models, including in-house manufacturing, strategic partnerships, contract manufacturing, and distribution arrangements.
• Prepare commercial feasibility studies, financial projections, investment assessments, and business cases to support management decisions.
• Identify potential revenue streams, cost structures, investment requirements, and long-term growth opportunities.
• Present strategic recommendations and business proposals to senior management.

3. Manufacturing & Product Development Planning

• Work closely with internal R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and technical teams to evaluate product development and manufacturing feasibility.
• Assess the technical capabilities, infrastructure, equipment, and investment required for potential TPN-related manufacturing activities.
• Evaluate opportunities to leverage Epic Medical’s existing manufacturing capabilities and product portfolio.
• Coordinate preliminary assessments of regulatory and quality requirements across proposed product categories and target markets.
• Support the development of product and manufacturing strategies aligned with commercial objectives.

4. Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Development

• Identify potential strategic partners, manufacturers, technology providers, distributors, and other relevant industry stakeholders.
• Explore business development opportunities, including licensing arrangements, joint ventures, strategic collaborations, and distribution partnerships.
• Engage with prospective partners to evaluate commercial and technical synergies.
• Support commercial negotiations and partnership evaluations in coordination with senior management.
• Establish relationships with relevant healthcare industry stakeholders to support future business expansion.

5. Project Planning & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Develop a strategic implementation roadmap based on the approved business model and commercial direction.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to align business development, product planning, manufacturing, regulatory, and financial considerations.
• Monitor key project milestones, commercial risks, and development requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates, findings, and recommendations to senior management.
• Support the execution of approved strategic initiatives to establish and grow Epic Medical’s TPN business.
