Hours: Mon–Thu 8:00am–3:30pm; Fri 8:00am–1:00pm
Key Roles
Identify, design, and implement support structures/strategies for students with SEN
Provide in-class support, individual/small-group interventions, and specialised remediation
Provide transition support for incoming Sec 1 students with SEN (engaging parents on the SEN Support Plan)
Maintain records of interventions, support provided, and progress
Work with subject teachers to implement practical classroom supports
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and refine them
Collaborate and consult with parents and external agencies/professionals
Invigilate and conduct observations during school-based assessments/exams
Conduct interventions and specialised remediation during June school holidays
Provide resources and organise workshops with the Student Wellbeing team to strengthen teachers' capabilities
Support students with SEN during school-based events as an adult supervisor
Requirements
At least a degree in special education
Ability to analyse and solve problems
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience
