Junior Music Teacher (Piano / Violin / Flute)

Cephas Music School is a classical music school in Clementi with a heritage going back to 1948. We're looking for an enthusiastic junior teacher who wants to grow as a music educator. Full training and mentoring are provided.

What you'll do

• Teach individual lessons in at least one of Piano, Violin or Flute, to students of all ages from age 4
• Make lessons fun and encouraging while building good technique and reading skills
• Prepare students for concerts and exams
• Keep parents updated on their child's progress
• Be part of the team beyond lessons, helping with day-to-day school admin, scheduling and events

What we're looking for

• Grade 8, a music diploma or degree, or equivalent
• Fresh graduates and those with 0-2 years' teaching experience are welcome
• Ability to teach violin is a plus
• Patient, warm and great with young children
• Organised, reliable and happy to pitch in where needed
• Good spoken English

Working hours

• Full time, on weekday afternoons to evenings and weekends
• Exact days and hours to be discussed
