Job Title: Functional Business Analyst (Private Banking)

Experience: 6+ years of relevant banking experience

Work with private banking specialists to elicit and review business requirements.
Analyse and document as-is and to-be business and operational processes, and assess the impact of proposed changes.
Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements from business requirements.
Identify and manage risks and issues related to requirements and scope creep.
Understand the existing technology landscape to deliver seamless integration.
Engage stakeholders to streamline systems and operational processes, and help operational teams establish new procedures.
Maintain a requirements traceability matrix against the Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Functional Specifications Document (FSD).
Review and confirm the list of capabilities against the BRD.
Manage the change process during the analysis phase.
Review and sign off functional specifications prepared by system analysts.
Support product incident investigation and resolution.

Hand over functional and non-functional requirements to system analysts and ensure they fully understand them.
Work under the guidance of senior functional business analysts and solution architects to define the final solution.
Work with the test manager to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
Run "train the trainer" sessions on application enhancements.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base on application features and processes.

Review test cases with SIT testers and support SIT and UAT.
Clarify test findings escalated by the test manager, and classify each as a defect or change request.
Assess impact and estimate effort for project change requests.

6+ years of relevant banking experience.
Private banking experience with investment product knowledge (mandatory).
Knowledge of regulatory changes, especially in sales and advisory processes.
Strong knowledge of investment products.
Knowledge of best practices and service excellence in technology and operations management.
Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions in a bank or financial market.
Experience scoping and evaluating solutions, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology risk, with clear recommendations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving and process design skills.
Able to turn analysis into actions that meet business objectives.
Passionate and diligent, able to thrive in ambiguity, and a resourceful team player.
