Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain & Order Planning: Plan and manage the entire order cycle from procurement to final delivery.
- Transportation & Routing: Select carriers, negotiate freight rates and contracts, and optimize shipping routes.
- Warehouse Operations: Supervise warehouse storage, layout organization, loading/unloading, and staff safety.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, balance demand with capacity, and minimize overstock or stockouts.
- Budget & Cost Management: Track logistics expenditures, build departmental budgets, and find cost-saving opportunities.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to local laws, shipping regulations, and safety/ISO standards.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse and logistics personnel.
