Job Description
You will be part of a team of technical specialists supporting the roll out of new products to customers as well as using this expertise to include customer requirements in new product developments.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development of precision optics system and Illumination and Lighting system for Machine Vision Inspection.
2. Design, analyse and simulation of optical components & illumination systems in ZEMAX or other optical modelling software.
3. Communicate with vendors to fabricate or purchase optical parts
4. Assembly, Test and Analyse experimental data and compare with simulation model for design correlation and optimisation

Requirements:

1. Masters or PhD’s Degree in Applied Physics / Optics and Photonics, or Engineering
2. 5 years of track record of optical system designs as part of a complete Machine Vision system, utilising their in-depth understanding of physics, radiometry, illumination, and photonics.
3. Ability to effectively combine modelling and experimentation into proper optical assembly and alignment.
4. Proficiency with Optics simulation software Zemax
5. Experience with Solidworks, and Autocad would be highly preferred.
6. Proficient in English and Chinese with good communication skills.
