Senior Security Officer - #1209675

Join us as a Senior Security Officer in Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium.

Reporting to the Security & Risk Manager, you will be responsible to perform hotel security duties and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees and the property as well as the property’s assets

Your day to day

• Perform hotel security duties and procedures to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, the property and its assets.
• Maintain security system including maintaining a 24-hour surveillance on areas with high foot traffic for unusually or suspicious activities.
• Assist Human Resources to conduct regular locker checks.
• Adhered to hotel's policies and procedures, advice supervisor and/or Human Resources of actions taken.
• Escorts to and fro to the bank as and when required.
• Perform VIP or dignitaries escort when needed.
• Support telephone operator, processing incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously.
• Support Concierge, such as sending guests' baggage to guest rooms and newspaper.
• Be thoroughly familiar with and guided by the hotel's emergency plan.
• Report to Manager all hotel property deficiencies and safety or security hazards.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned.

What we need from you

• WSQ on Supervise Security Officers and 1 year of relevant experience in Security.
• Knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, OSHA requirements and fire codes and life safety codes.
• Certified occupational first aid would be an added advantage.
