Paint Chemist - #1210020

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the chemical painting industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes related to painting applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and formulate paint / waterproofing coating products and synthesize fine chemical and specialty chemicals.
• Conduct research to develop and improve chemical formulations for paint / waterproofing coating processes.
• Conduct laboratory evaluation and analysis of samples.
• Develop and validate analytical methods.
• Review analytical data and prepare test reports.
• Communicate with external parties on testing and submission matters.
• Maintain and upkeep laboratory records and documentations.
• Paint / waterproofing coating analysis, development & inspection
• Document & sample preparation
• Provide technical support to Sales Department
• Perform calibration and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Maintain documentation for work procedures in accordance with ISO standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all chemical related activities.
• All other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience / manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, and chemical industry is preferred.
• Mature, possess effective communication skills and able to interact with people at all levels.
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer-literate with knowledge of MS Office applications
