Job Description

• Position Title: Mechanical Engineer
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 5.5 / 6 days
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Focus on equipment design, hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting projects related to plant
• Assess the plant's needs to understand design requirements.
• Use CAD software to create design drafts (such as P&ID and GA drawings).
• List necessary materials, compare with current stock, and manage inventory reports for project implementation.
• Keep track of the project's progress to ensure it aligns with the planned timeline.
• Test, diagnose issues with, and fix equipment or products manually.
• Manage the submission of documents
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant advanced qualification.
• Minimum 1-2 years of mechanical engineering experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Skilled in using AutoCAD for drafting and competent with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Hands-on technical skills are an added advantage.
