Job Summary: We are looking for a Risk Manager in the APAC region.
Duties/Responsibilities:
$200,000—$250,000 SGD
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Analyze market conditions and investment strategies to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor and understand portfolio performance and identify areas of concern.
- Monitor risk limits, develop relevant reports and oversee maintenance of risk systems and data processes in collaboration with the broader risk team.
- Independently and proactively drive conversation with the investment team.
- Conduct scenario tests to assess portfolio performance under different market conditions.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, to keep them informed about the fund's risk exposure and performance.
- Collaborate across functions from technology, operations to investment team, to ensure that risk management is integrated into the investment process.
- Experience with coverage of G10 Asia rates or EM Asia, and understanding of fixed income curve builds, is a strong plus.
- Interview prospective portfolio manager candidates and evaluate the risk profile.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ideally, candidates would have experience from a multimanager and/or multistrategy hedge fund.
- Ideally, candidates will have had exposure to a variety of different investment strategies, including but not limited to Quantitative Strategies, Fixed Income, Long/Short Equity and Credit, Convertible Arbitrage, Event Driven, and Macro Relative Value.
- Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics or other related field; Master degree in related field preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and quickly, both orally and in written form.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
