Quality Manager (QAQC)

Principal Responsibilities
ü Oversee entire project assurance activities and matters.
ü Liaise with the Client quality representative on project quality matters.
ü Support the Project Manager and project functional managers in their preparation of project specific plans and procedures.
ü Assist the Project Manager to rectify any deficiencies identified in the full implementation of management system processes and procedures.
ü Liaise with the Procurement / Contract Manager during SUBCONTRACTOR or supplier evaluation and negotiation to establish the suitability of proposed Quality Management Systems for the products or services to be supplied.
ü Manage Non-conformance & Corrective Action registers or database and ensure investigation, follow-up and corrective actions are implemented.
ü Assign experienced and qualified personnel to perform auditing activities.
ü Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) when required.
ü Arrange or conduct ongoing audits and surveillance visits to ensure conformance with agreed practices and the maintenance of project records at project offices and subcontractor or supplier locations.
Education/Experience Requirements/ Certification
ü Shall have hands on work experience in establishing and implementation of QA/QC systems / processes and procedure, of similar size and nature of EPIC Projects with QMS lead auditor certification or equivalent and familiar with relevant industry codes / standards / practices.
ü Shall be able to exercise judgement against the criteria / requirement.
ü Shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant QA/QC experience (e.g. in oil & gas and petrochemical projects, infrastructure and communication) of which minimum five (5) years must be in working in similar position (as overall QA/QC in-charge of the project).
