Available Position: Freelance Science Tutor

We are looking for dedicated and engaging tutors to join our growing team.

Subjects

• Primary Science
• Lower Secondary Science
• Upper Secondary Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology)
• Junior College/IP Science (Physics / Chemistry / Biology)
• International Curriculum (IGCSE / IB)

Compensation

Competitive hourly rates based on experience and class size

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with MOE / IGCSE / IB syllabuses
• Explain complex scientific concepts clearly and foster curiosity in inquiry-based learning
• Encourage critical thinking, experimentation, and application of scientific knowledge
• Adapt lesson materials to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Mark assignments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student progress
• Communicate effectively with parents and the Academic Head
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation

Requirements

• Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
• University Degree (Education or subject-relevant field preferred)
• Strong command of English and solid grounding in scientific principles
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
• Passionate about teaching and inspiring confidence in learners
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to student success
• Able to teach after-school hours and/or weekends
