Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, deployment and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling and AWS Backup.
- Implement and maintain AWS network components, including VPC, subnets, route tables, NAT Gateway, Internet Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs and VPN connectivity.
- Support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and AWS using Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect or secure remote access solutions.
- Implement cloud security controls such as IAM least privilege, MFA, encryption, logging, key management and vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor cloud performance, availability, cost, security events and system health.
- Perform patching, backup, recovery testing and incident response support.
- Assist in developing automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows where required.
- Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, cloud architecture diagrams, SOPs, implementation plans and handover documents.
- Work with cybersecurity teams to support audit, compliance, VAPT, hardening review and risk assessment activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application connectivity, DNS, firewall, routing, performance and security-related issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure support experience.
- Good understanding of AWS core services, especially VPC, EC2, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
- Good knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, firewall rules, NAT, subnetting and load balancing.
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows server administration.
- Basic experience with security hardening, access control, logging, monitoring and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiar with backup, disaster recovery, high availability and business continuity concepts.
- Able to prepare clear technical documentation and implementation records.
- Good troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Good to Have
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
- Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- Exposure to GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to SIEM, SOC operations, VAPT remediation, endpoint protection, or cloud security posture management.
- Awareness of ISO 27001, CIS Benchmark, NIST, IM8 or other cybersecurity compliance requirements
