Solution Architect (IoT) - (Public Sector)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting enforcement and operational systems.
• Develop and enhance backend and frontend components of enterprise applications.
• Integrate applications with IoT sensors, edge devices, and video analytics platforms.
• Build and maintain APIs for data ingestion, processing, and system integration.
• Collaborate with operations, product owners, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure applications adhere to security, performance, and coding best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for system design, implementation, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience as Solution Architect, minimum of 4 years experience or Technical Lead
• Experience in geospatial solutions and applications
• Experience in IoT sensor platforms and integrations
• Experience in video analytics solutions
• Experience designing enterprise-scale system architectures
• Ability to evaluate and recommend suitable technology solutions
• Experience engaging stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and modern application platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting operations and enforcement-related systems is preferred
